Did you know that World War I was the biggest war the USA had? First off it started in Europe, and we helped them. It took 4 years and 3 months (July 28, 1914 to November 11 1918.) Then it was over, and they kept there land Germany wanted. People in the USA thought it was over until the year of 1939.
On the date of Sept 1, 1939 World War II happen. The counties who fought was Germany, United States, United Kingdom and Soviet Union. It took 6 years 1 day to finish the war. Then Germany got Japan to help. Japan flew jets into Pearl Harbor.
Then it happen the US finished it all. We never had to worry about them again. This day we will remember the day of the wars, and the people who served to. We celebrate them every year too. World War I and II was the worst war the USA ever was in.
